What are your thoughts are on the best tires for rain and snow? How do you feel about the all terrain tires that come with the Anti Spin package?

I have had Duratracs on my JKU since 2014. I love the tire, and probably will stick with them. I’m just curious what other options are out there. I never had an issue with them in snow or rain. After 47k miles the tread is still pretty good on them too. I’m impressed.

Going to bump this out of curiosity. I installed Duratracs in April and am continued to be happy with them. They've performed great in the winter so far(not deep snow, but lots of slippery slush). In the summer time I was on the highway for 2 hours in a downpour. Drove 60 MPH the whole way and traction was incredible.

What are your thoughts on the best tires for wet or winter conditions?

I have had great success with the Cooper Discoverer M+S Dedicated Snow Tires on both JK and now a brand new set on my JL.

Plus, the Coopers are very quiet and never pick up stones. The tire treads are always clean and they always look brand new....

I think it's good and what you would expect from an all terrain on a Jeep. Honestly it's hard for me to say though as I've been running Duratracs for 6 years now. I can only compare to the 2 weeks I had the Sport Kevlars on. The Kevlars were quieter but not by a great amount

I've got about 6.5K miles on my Goodyear Duratrac All-Terrain 'E' 35x12.5x17s so far. A good 500 to 1K of that has been off-road aired down to 15 psi on some pretty serious and difficult Colorado trails.

Other than the stock 31.5" Michelins that came with my 2019 JL Sport S, these are the only AT tires I have any experience with so I can't honestly compare them to any other brands. However, I'm very happy and impressed with these tires so far. I've performed a 5 tire rotation at 5K miles and don't yet see any appreciable wear.

Their performance has been outstanding thus far. I've been complimented many times for successfully accomplishing obstacles that many say only Rubicon's with locker's should have attempted. With my Sport, I of course only have axels with the open diffs. So I do attribute my success not just to my 4wd (with power to only one wheel on each axel) to just pure skill, these tires have to take the lion share of the credit.

Of course, I'm wheeling the majority of the really hard stuff with my MHJC Jeeping buds with very good mentoring, guidance and advice, but these tires are certainly doing the heavy lifting. I really do think (with it being unsaid), that my Patrol is hoping that I do get stuck so that they can hone and practice their recovery skills. Clearly, I'm doing better than they're expecting with a rig without lockers.

Hey, only glad to dissapoint. Again I attribute some of my success to a little bit of skill, but these tires really enable a lot of confidence.

Here's a couple pics of my rubber. Noting the last several are the most recent. I just can't seem to keep them clean. However, Colorado mountain mud is exactly the way I like to see em.

Maybe a snowy winter may eventually do the job. They've performed great in the snow so far, but to date, all the snow has been on-trail at high mountain altitude. Still living in Colorado (anywhere), it can snow almost anytime. I'm really looking forward to winter. Let it snow.

Based on other’s recommendations, I am going with the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Should have them on in a few weeks. Going with 315s. I keep all posted with my thoughts

If it’s mostly rain or just sleet you are concerned about then I would go with Michelin LTX Defender. Hated the Falken on my F150, that tire lacks grip on wet roads after 15K.

As a quick follow up, I've also invested in the Teraflex Sway-Bar Quick Disconnect kit for my Sport. Keeping the tires on the ground with the extra articulation is also a big factor in their performance. I couldn't be any happier with them. Moving to another brand will be a difficult decision. And no I'm neither a paid or unpaid spokesperson. If someone would like to give me a set of something else, I would certainly give them a go.
