Best time to rustproof a brand new wrangler

I’m wondering if I should take the wrangler right away from the dealership to rustproof it. Or should I enjoy the summer and do it late September? I live in Toronto, Canada and I know we have to rustproof at some point. But I don’t know what time would be a great time to spray that oil and ruin the brand new feeling!

I sprayed mine with fluid film right when I got it home and plan on doing it every fall before the cold and snow hit

I had the wax oil system done on mine at about 1000 miles . Wanted to break it in first and enjoy the new jeep smell....

If you are going to do it, do it first thing you drive it off dealer lot.

I know a few of professional rust proofing places worth their salt won’t even accept the work it if it’s not a new vehicle, you would risk sealing all sorts of salt and mud underneath.
