Best Soft Top?

So we just picked up a 2018 JLU Sport. This is our first wrangler in approximately 15 years so I'm out of touch with the aftermarket. our JLU came with a hard top but we want to get a soft top to swap out during the summer. How is the aftermarket for JL tops? Is it too early for good options? Should we go with the factory soft top? I've seen the Bestop fastback option but apparently it is not fully convertible which we definitely want.

You may want to wait for the Bestop Trek Top Ultra (thats a mouth full). I'm not sure when they are due out, if not already, see the thread below for pictures, may have an anticipated release time also. Probably a YouTube video out there also about it.

Mopar Premium Twill soft top is the best. But it all depends on the look you want. I like the OEM look myself.

By the way I'm pretty sure the Mopar twill soft top is sourced through BestTop.

X2 on the Mopar Premium Twill top. I bought a new in box top from a dual top Jeep and it is very nice. They can be bought for a reasonable price in the Member Marketplace.

AFAIK Bestop is currently the only company making soft tops. That includes the factory one.

From the factory there are 2 soft top options. The base Sunrider, which would fit your "NON-PREMIUM" description and the Premium (twill) Sunrider for either a $595 (black) or $795 (tan) upcharge. AFAIK all of Jeep's soft tops are designed and made by Bestop.
