Best place to take pictures in the Desert?

Hi everyone, i am from Phoenix Arizona and my wife wants me to take her to the desert and make a photoshoot of ther and my JL, is there anyone here from Phoenix who can give me advice on where to go?

many places will do but the best time would be early in the morning or just before sunset when you get nice soft light and long shadows that will add 3D effect to your images

51F here now. Tops out a 70F today, then we have a return of dead winter tomorrow, 64F. Gonna have to build a fire and get out the parkas.

Bulldog Canyon, Four Peaks, Butcher Jones, Apache Trail. These are the places I'd first recommend.

I agree with these. All close to Phoenix.
