You just have to find one that fits right and has the right shape. That hat in the picture is a big ol' hat, but It's my summer beach/fishing/pool hat. The company that sells them is Sun Body Hats in Houston. The palm leaf straw is super easy to shape. Get it damp, shape it, and when it's dry it will hold that shape. They are super durable and take a beating that would destroy a typical straw cowboy hat.touche! I look ridiculous in hats though
Sweet! only 10 minutes from me. Thanks for the info. I'm going to head over there with my huge dome and see what they can do.You just have to find one that fits right and has the right shape. do you need the soft top front bracket in order to install? we used it the other day but I couldn't get the front bungees on. was in a hurry so didn't try and lower the windshieldI have the shade idea one off of Amazon. Works great and decently easy install.
This sounds like wisdom that was earned rather than gathered from others.a non mesh one that doesn't allow bird dropping's to go from one big one to hundreds of little ones
Get the Alien sunshade that is two separate pieces for front and back. The material is stretchy enough to get around and easily work the latches, IMO. But I am not aware of any mesh tops that straight up expose the latches.I would also like to know.... is there a sunshade that you can keep in place all the time and will still allow access to the hardtop latches?
no I don’t think you need any brackets. The piece of paper that came with the kit broke on the first pull. I just fished the bungee through with a flexible piece of plastic. All in all it took only like 10 minutes to install.do you need the soft top front bracket in order to install? we used it the other day but I couldn't get the front bungees on. was in a hurry so didn't try and lower the windshield
