I use GAIA apps to do my navigation for offroad use, download maps ahead of where i'm going both on the Satellite with Labels map source as well as GAIA's topo map.
However, I use TrailsOffroad in order to find new trails that i'd like to explore, as well as some books that have trails already in them. Usually those will be specific to your geographic area. Trailsoffroad is nice because it's specific to offroad trails in a 4x4 vehicle...gaia has it as well, but a lot of what they have are hiking trails too so i haven't really liked looking for new trails on GAIA, of course i haven't really given it a legitimate shot to try because i just use other sources and then dump the tracks into GIAIA and then download the apps and use while i'm out offroading.
