have 40” nittos on now and much more lift — interested to see how it does going to Moab next week — thinking 10-11 mpg. Buddies 448 glad on tons and 42’s gets 6
I have a design for a roof top 20 gallon aux tank. Gravity to fill your tank. You all getting like 10 mpg are gonna pay thousands for my idea. Patent pending…
Yes I have 1.75 spacers to clear the MC long travel shock mounts I may remove them. Also as a temp solution before my TeraFlex spare tire relocation bracket arrives I have a spacer on the tire carrier. THey barely stick out passed the fender maybe 1" more than stock.
22' 392 - stock 3.73 Gears & 35" K02. I don't drive the expressway often, but do a lot of cruising around at 55 MPH. I'm averaging 14.8 MPG and often have MDS disabled over the duration of the ride by manually shifting.
At least once in the 45 minutes are so ride I'll get on it on OR+ as well.
I'm happy. It's the same mileage I was getting in my 19' 4Runner TRD Off-Road that was lifted on 33" tires. It was tuned and required premium, but was nothing like the 392.
I had a Gladiator Mojave with a 2.5" lift and 35" tires and also saw 14.5 MPG. The only engine option here is the Pentastar, which is fine for most people, but was just boring to live with day to day.
I will say though, the 3.0 Diesel with a Banks tune was the bee's knees! I had this in a prior JL and it had seemingly endless torque and I could get 24-25 mpg all day.
I've really only checked mine once. I didn't do the math, and just glanced at the trip computer while flipping through the screens to get to the one I wanted. This was at the end of a 150 mile trip on 60 to 65 mph two lane roads, followed by another 50 miles at 80 mph on the interstate. I had reset the trip meters before the trip to keep track how far the trip was. The 392 XR was entirely stock at that time, and the trip meter said I had got 16.5 mpg.
That is a whole lot better than several YJs, TJs, and even a couple of JKs I've owned have gotten. I haven't checked since the suspension lift, 37s, and all the armor. I'm just going with "16 mpg".
Well after a few weeks looks like 23mph was a dream... getting 19-20 mix of highway/city no freeway. I go from 1400ft to 400ft above sea level a few days per week, round trip 60miles
