It's the stuff of self deprecating humor we Wrangler enthusiasts laugh at ourselves about.

Answer: you take a fine suggestion to buy inexpensive good stuff at Harbor Freight like @wibornz suggested, and then protect it with a $490 purchase!!!

Agree with many of the things others have stated, but one I didn't see mentioned was a decent air compressor. I got the Viair 88P which is only ~half of your budget, but you could probably spend more, especially if you plan to go with bigger tires.

Also there are lots of tools. Check out Trail Recon's Amazon shop as he has a great selection of tools and other odds and ends.

Mopar floor mats.1050 bucks. Need these and they should come standard...

Harbor Freight moving blankets. 5 bucks. best 5 bucks you will spend. Put them in the back. They fold perfect to act as a mat in the back, Open up and cover the whole area when the rear seats are folded down. Can cover stuff up you don't want seen and great to lay on when wrenching on your Jeep.

I second this. I have two of them. They've come in quite useful.
