Anyone know what would be the best air intake system for 2019 Rubicon 2.4L gas?

The stock system. Not going to see any increases in anything (will see a decrease in your bank account though) unless you also add a custom tune, exhaust, etc. to take advantage of the additional (however minute) air flow.

I have the Mopar CAI, it's one of the more efficient systems due to the hood vent. You get a ram air effect, but that also means you have to cut a hole in your hood.

There is another kit that uses the stock Rubicon hood vent so no cutting. Can't remember the name though.

I wouldnt waste your time with aftermarket air intakes. I would and have switched out my filter to a higher volume reusable "Dry Filter". I installed an AFE Dry filter. I noticed a slightly smoother idle, and it seems to be a little more responsive.
I would stay away from any reusable "Oiled Filter". Too many sensors that do not like being coated in oil.

Iā€™m still scratching my head over a 2.4L in a 2019 Rubi. Am I missing something?

Looking for some extra horse power, better sound.

A little better gas mileage and torque. It is a turbo as well.
Sound is all you're gonna get putting a CAI on a Wrangler.

You wont get any better MPG or HP.

Your Jeep has a 4 cylinder 2.0L engine by the way.

This is why I'm here asking these types of questions
Okay the jokeā€™s been going on long enough.

Yer being made fun of: thereā€™s no 2.4L offered on JL. Thereā€™s a 2.0 turbo, a 3.6 V6 and a 3.0 turbodiesel.

Per your question: I wouldnā€™t waste money on a CAI for a Wrangler. The factory air box is pretty efficient as it is. More so when you consider off-roading conditions and engine noise levels.

I put a Mopar CAI on my JKs strictly because I hated the factory sound of the V6, and the CAI provided a nice growl under acceleration. But there were no other advantages.

I canā€™t hear the V6 on my JL, and thatā€™s the way I like it. So Iā€™m not going to waste my money on a CAI this time.

Welcome to the forum BTW.

Woody, welcome to the forum! Please know the teasing about you not knowing what size engine you have is all good-natured. Iā€™ve learned a lot about our Jeeps since joining this forum. You will too - and you may also teach us a thing or two!

Yep! Mopar CAI, True outside air. You have the option of using supplied (dry style) high volume or stock paper filters. I installed one, no regrete or issues. Mopar says increased performance but gives no numbers. I make no claims other than, I like it.
