These are the sliders I’m looking at for my 2-door. I love the look and the step. Do these bolt to both the frame and the body? Hard to find clear picts of these anywhere.
They mount to the frame only. There is also an additional mounting point to the frame that requires drilling but that is optional.

Sliders should either bolt to the frame or to the body. Otherwise when the frame moves relative to the body something has to give. Hint: the body is weaker.

The sliders you see that bolt to the body and the body mount bolt move with the body. For the JL, frame mounted sliders are generally considered stronger.

Curious how/if that mounting bracket holds up when used as a slider.
TBH I don't wheel hard enough for it to really matter. They mount like the factory rails so as long as they're up to that level of durability it should be plenty for me. I went with them because they don't require any fiddling with the body mount bolt, they look like a very usable step for the kids, they're light (36 pounds for the pair), they won't rust, and they were only $760 coated and shipped.

Makes sense, I had a nice big dent in the tub from the factory mounts flexing so much. The factory slider was hiding it until I took them off.

Nice looking setup all around! Well done sir. Do you happen to know what that ARB stubby and hoop weigh? Looks beefy AF :)

75 lbs according to ARB. I was really surprised how well the factory springs handled the weight of the bumper and winch.

I tried sending an email asking if I could be a guinea pig but I got no response.
Talk to them on live chat they are still looking. I’m too far away in Maryland. The sliders on My Cherokee from them were bomb proof
