Battery Recommendation for 2019 2.0

Hi All,

It's that time. I have the 2019 2.0 with etorque - no aux battery, just the main and the underbody etorque battery. Need a main replacement recommendation. I don't know if it even matters, but I do also have the tow package and factory aux switches. I am sure there are other threads, but I would like an updated one with new information. Thank you!!

I myself would not go with an Optima.

Yes, I listed it on my list, but.... but.... today's Optima's are not the Optima we knew for years was a terrific offering.

Were I to buy an H7 today, my first choice would be an Odyssey Performance AGM94R H7 L4 840 CCA.

i know Odyssey is great, but they run big if I remember, any issues with the fitment?

ALL the H7 batteries I listed in that the thread I linked to fit. Read through that whole thread.

Your JL has the tow package so the small plastic stay/cleat has already been removed and any H7 on that list will drop right in/fit.
