Basic Wiring help

I have two new spot lights for my 2019 JL. I have the aux switches that came with my two package but not sure how to wire them. I know where the aux wires are under the hood but not sure about two very simple things:
1. what gauge are the 15 and 40 amp wires (so i can get the right butt connectors and ends)
2. how do i take the live wire from each light and connect them to the Aux wire? can i use 1 butt connector with both red wires and the Aux wire?

Check this thread for Aux wire info.

You can "Y" the two inputs from your lights into one Aux wire. Usually you can make a butt splice work fine.

15 amp is 14 AWG, 40 amp is 8 AWG
