Bash-fest on the Spring Creek trail in Rubi XR

The Funtreks guide for Colorado-south has 100 trails in it, and it ranks Spring Creek as the fifth-hardest of 100. It was a bash-fest; slam-dancing in my new XR. I did NOT enjoy it. Watch with audio to hear the banging and cursing. Video: My Rubi XR on the nasty Spring Creek trail

Hahaha, thanks. It's hilarious when it's someone else's rig!
I think all of the damage was cosmetic, so, lesson learned and I won't be doing that trail again.

I love that you actually use your XR like I do! We have to wheel one of these days
I ran Wheeler lake solo yesterday and it was a bash/scrape fest even on 37’s. I damaged my steering stabilizer and ordered a new oem replacement this morning

Oh man, sorry to hear about the trail damage! And sorry to hear that about Wheeler; I had in my mind that I might find it easier than Spring Creek. I did Red Cone for the first time Saturday. It wasn't hard but it was more fun than I expected. Yes - let's definitely hit a trail some time; I really don't have any Jeep friends.

It was soooo good. I have a lot of observations, and tons of great video. It will take me a while to sort it all out and edit. A week or so, I will post a thorough observation/report and a new movie or three.

Poison Spider, Hell's Revenge twice (including Staircase), and Fins twice (including Kenny's Climb). Had planned on Top of the World, but logistically, it was more bang for my buck to just play close to my campsite.
