Baja California - who’s down for a trip?

My girl and I want to explore Baja California but are hesitant to go alone in one rig since we can’t take firearms to Baja… anyone down to go, sometime between Christmas and NEw Year?

I love the Baja, it is truly one of my favorite places...I have been down there for fun and for racing. Have also spent about 3 years and done something like 1k outside the wire missions in Iraq and Afghanistan...and I wouldn't even consider a trip down to the Mexican desert at the moment, except maybe as part of a large race team in a major event. The level of criminality, corruption, impunity, and out of control violence makes any trip down there, even if you have a few rigs, simply a roulette game....might go fine, or you might end up in shallow graves.
