Badland Winch Control box location

[T-REX DAWG]

Does anyone know another way to mount the winch control box? I have a 2020 Rubicon and I've installed the winch with a Maximus-3 winch plate but the control box wont fit on top of the winch. There's not enough room between the grill and the cables.

It is pretty tight on mine. I was able to bend and move enough to get them to work.

That looks really good. Mine is dropped down into the bumper and I just don't have the clearance. I've seen some pics where they turned the box backwards and I'll probably do that temporarily. Thanks.

We screwed new holes into the controller box to move it forward about an inch. Gave the cables enough room, and my winch cover now slides in between. The controller box is snug with the front of the bumper opening.

I used the existing engine cover bracket and made new holes in the box to mount and made new wires for the whole thing.

I think I could have saved a lot of money by going for this type of winch mount instead of getting a whole new bumper... lol.

That is why I did it. Way cheaper! Took a chance on it and it came out pretty nice. I did not opt for the bar on the Rockhard4x4 winch plate.
