Ran Gold Mountain in Big Bear on 07/31. Badge showed up today.

The last week of March I ran Fins n Things, Hell's Revenge and Elephant Hill. For each I was told 10-12 weeks. I had them all within a week.

In July I ran Top of the World and Poison Spider. Again I was told 10-12 weeks for both. Top of the World arrived in a week. I think Poison Spider may have taken two weeks or a little more.

Weird how some get them so quickly and others have to wait so long.

I got an automated reply as well. I am hoping since they are asking for a mailing address in the email that they are trying to expedite some badges.

The trails were not busy and were dry. Just a few washed out areas.

I know it sucks to have to wait, but… some of y’all weren’t around in 2015 and 2016 trying to get badges. Most people waited months and a few over a year. Then you’d get one randomly. Lol. And out of nowhere they changed the badge design to the current design. I believe that was late 2017. And the badges started coming quicker, usually. But they did resend the new badges to replace the old style to those requesting them so all the badges would match.

So the “old timers” to the badge chasing understand your frustrations but kind of Giggle at what we consider a short wait time so far.

After 9 months wait I gave up and removed the badges I had already installed. 3M eraser wheel is the ticket for anyone wondering
