Badge of Honor Trail - Stock JL

Just got my First Wrangler last weekend,
Havent done any mods to it yet.. but am looking to take it out on trail..
I am assuming , I shouldnt go for 6-10 Difficulty level trail (Common Sense)...

I am heading to Atlanta over the Chrismas break from Dallas... they are ARKANSAS,Alabama trails on the way..
Any one here who knows if it is safe to do any of these trails on a stock JL?

Stony Lonesome OHV Park - Trail # 404 (3-5 difficulty)
Gut Buster # 508 (7-9 difficulty)
Fun Run (AR) - Hot Springs - (5-7 difficulty).
Snake(AR) - Hot Springs - (2-4 difficulty)
Rubicon Ridge - Hot Springs (3-6 Difficulty)

I personally wouldn’t do any trail over a (6) but as I understand it, there are bypasses on most trails.

@RogueKJ might be able to shed some light for you as he has done many.

I have never done a trail myself, so the Bypasses allows you to get off the trail completely? or just take an alternative ?

Bypasses just bypass harder obstacles on the trail.
you should be ok on Stony, Snake or Rubicon Ridge.
Just remember to take it easy, no shame in using a bypass to get around obstacles that you are uncomfortable trying.

I just did Snake and Rubicon Ridge on Sunday in my stock JLUR. Snake was easy and only a few spots where I needed 4 Low. Rubicon Ridge however was a bitch at the beginning and near the end - dropping in is a steep and rocky descent where your skid plates will get dinged but low and slow did the job. There is a big uphill climb near the end that was wet and offered no traction with deep ruts and slippery rocks. I had to winch up the hill and the other Rubicon and two Range Rovers with me had to do the same. In short, try Rubicon Ridge if it's dry and with others who have a winch. Snake is accurately rated but Rubicon I felt was closer to a 6 since it was wet. We all felt it was tougher than expected but again, low and slow got us all through. Still fun though.

You can drive the Rubicon trail in a stock Jeep (I'd recommend rock rails on your Sport first though). The trick is knowing the limits of yourself and your Jeep. There's usually an easy way and a hard way when presented with more difficult areas on trails.

Edited: Actually I'd recommend some take-off Rubicon rails on your Sport anyway if you're planning on taking it off road. It's the best $100.00 you'll ever spend.

If this is your first wrangler I would suggest you get some experienced riders to hit the trails with you - stock is definitely capable on lighter trails but experience goes a long way. It has been a while since I went to Hot Speings but some of the 3-5 trails if I remember correctly require lift and bigger tires..

Took me about 50 minutes with a group of four vehicles last week. We took our time because it was muddy and needed to spot in a couple places.
