The OEM LED backup lights on our JLUR aren't very bright, especially in low light conditions. I would love to know what others have done to improve the performance of their backup lights. Please include a picture if you've added auxiliary lighting and are happy with the performance.

Back up lights always suck. Add auxillary lights.

Added a Baja designs s2 pro to the spare and as back up light/chase light. Works very well. The first pic is factory backup lights and brake lights. Second pic is the Baja designs light on and you can’t even see the red brake lights anymore it’s so bright. HUGE DIFFERENCE! Also 1 pic directly from the rear with the added light.

There is a comparison at the end of the slide show. I have since painted the home-made bracket black. Love them. They are @Diode Dynamics spots. I have their fogs on the front. They are wired to come on when I want w/o the engine running. I mainly use them for camping and/or if it is difficult to see when backing up.
