How are the go pro mounts secured? 3M tape?Yes I was gonna tap into the harness but I decided to tap into the taillight since there’s less water and crap to seep into my splices
Didn't you say you got the surface mount, looked like a go pro mount in the pictures.. Care to show pictures of how they are attached? I'm looking to do the same.. Thanks! There was nothing other than the bracket with a hole in it.
So I moved them back. I use a 3/4 spacer and a #8 screw. Drilling was easy. Zip striped all the wires and shrink tubed them. Sucks you spend 50Gs on a rig and you have to do this. It actually looks like it belongs there. Either mounting position looks good but farther back you can’t see themDidn't you say you got the surface mount, looked like a go pro mount in the pictures.. @Shub_32Like Rhinebeck said. The muffler may be an issue. I’ll check it after a drive. I’m actually gonna borrow a tap so I can use a machine screw instead of a sheet metal one. Yes I moved them back for discreetness. I may have to move them more towards the bumper if there’s too much heat. Either way looks good. Very bright tiny light.Just checked and the wire is about 2” from muffler. If I have to move it, it will take less than 5.
@Shub_32Thanks for the info. I’m afraid to do any more wiring. Jeeps only 2 weeks old. Point me in the direction on how to do it. Just in case
