Bent one of the two top support beams, and now there is a gap where the driver side soft window meets the top.
Here is the unbent side:
And here is the side I mangled:
It’s only a few degrees, but it’s enough to leave a gap in the top rear corner where it meets the window.
Any recommendations on how to fix, without making it worse? I’d like to do it myself if possible, since I live in Central Asia, where every mechanic is a shade tree mechanic and I can’t speak Russian beyond ‘another beer please’ (isho adin piva pajalsta; in case anyone was wondering).
I looked up pipe bending, but that didn’t seem like something I’d be able to do without removing the beam and getting it welded back in. Is there some sort of jack or vice that can be used to put pressure on the bend point and push/pull the bar straight again? Thanks in advance for any help!
