Just had 35's put on, same problem. Valve stem was already at 12 o'clock. Clear packing tape fixed it.

Wasn't sure where to put it exactly, ran a 12 inch long strip in the center of the tread, and then a second next to it towards the body. I see that Bikeindirt shows that he has has one strip off center, away from the body.

The attached video shows how you can realign the sensors. I haven't looked to see if the JL has these same angled bezels, but it's a pretty interesting solution.
