Got some 3" led pods from auxbeam, mounting them in my bumper and I want to wire them to turn on when my reverse lights come on. Do I just spice into the rear led factory positive and negative wires on each taillight?

Yup…that’ll do it. Just don’t use the cheap plastic PosiTaps, Scotch locks, etc. Over time you’ll most likely have issues.

Instead of tapping the wires you can get a curt harness that connects in line to the harness at your tail lights and leaves your existing wiring intact. You shouldnt need to tap both taillights, one should do.
