back rack

Any of you ever build your own rack basket for the back of your Jeep? I see a few aftermarket racks, but the looks and how they sit just doesn't appeal to me. I got in my head how it should look but I was wondering if any of you had built their on. I would like for mine the bottom of rack line up with bottom of tailgate and the top line up with top of tailgate. I'll make it so it molds around the spare tire. I would like it to be able to hold a big ice chest or deer. I'll build it so it swings like a spare tire holder. Anyone got any pictures of some you have built? Thanks

I just built an adapter that slides into the receiver hitch and allows me to use a normal hitch rack that plugs in about the middle of the spare tire. I'd be interested to see what you come up with.
