Wondering what people’s experiences have been.

I ordered 10/2, was gathering parts until this past week, wondering how much longer I might reasonably expect?

Anyone? I’ve been in the “parts necessary for your build have been acquired, and it should be sequenced for production very soon” category for a week now.

Just wondering what others have experienced in terms of timeline.

There is no average. It can be a week, it can be months.
By definition, there has to be an average. If it’s a week for most, months for a few, the average will be closer to a week, if it’s months for most and a week for others, then the average will be closer to “months”

If enough people share their experience, an average can be determined.

And that "average" will be useless in determing when your jeep will arrive...
It could be useful in estimating when it might most likely arrive though.

I've ordered three JLUR, these were the approximate times spent waiting in the D1 status (parts have been gathered)

3 months
2 weeks
1 month

I've seen members on here in D1 from anywhere between a week to close to a year. The status can also regress. I had that happen to me.

Unfortunately, jeep does not build jeeps in order that they were received. Maybe more people will chime in.

Thanks for the data, yes, hopefully more folks will chime in.

With your 3 data points, the average is currently at 6weeks BTW.

Well I was in D1 status a week. I’m now in trim stage as of just now.

Which brings the known average down to 4.75 weeks.

It also puts half the known jeep builds at 1 week.

You've reached this stage faster than I did, as I was in D1 for about 4 weeks. Total time between window sticker and delivery to dealership was 9 days, so hopefully you have yours within the next 2 weeks.

"Gathering Parts" is a very nebulous stage. You can be stuck there for a couple days, a couple weeks, or a couple months. It all depends on what options you got, the availability of those options, the parts Jeep may have on hand, and the delivery schedules of when the parts you need will arrive. Almost every piece of your Jeep is made in a different place, and then shipped to Toledo for assembly. (There's a great pinned post that shows this).

I ordered 8/10 and my Jeep shipped to dealership 11/1.
There are too many variables to get accurate guess on gathering parts stage.
Which model did you order?

I was about 2 weeks from parts in to delivery. Of course my entire wait was 4 weeks to the day so I think I was the exception. My order date was 9/28 and I picked it up on 10/30.

I got a sting grey JLURXR, handful of options except the safety packages, and steel bumpers. I didn’t want to deal with accommodating sensors on aftermarket bumpers etc. I also got regular cloth seats because I’m going Katzkin afterward, but pretty sure I got most everything else. Bought it for $57k, which was at invoice
