Threw on my ARB bumper and eBay special ARB'esq LED aux lights. (for $70 a pair, they work, bench tested them at my brothers before mounting them up, he's an electrical engineer with a shit load of testing equipment).
First tried to wire them up to the factory Fog harness, the canbus system didnt like that too much so instead of ordering relays and adding more jumble to the wiring, I decided to go the OE route and use the AUX switches my truck came with. I used AUX 3 switch since its a 15 amp circuit, should be plenty for two LED lights.
Wiring went easy, lights fired right up, good to go.
After a few minutes, I start my truck back up to move it back into garage to install the FOX steering damper and the new LED auxiliary lights no longer work. The AUX 3 switch amber light illuminates on the button when selected, I checked the SETTINGS and its all correct. Checked my wiring, wiggled connections, nothing.
I looked for a fuse circuit, found N4 is the AUX system fuse. But I figured if I blew a fuse the AUX switch button would not illuminate, right?
I've searched all over the place, can't really find anything like my situation. Should I have used the 40A circuit?
HELP
