Im looking for ideas on how to use the 4 AUX switches (aside from the obvious light bar) on my Sahara. How do you use yours?

I added some lights to the rear bumper so I can see when backing up. The LED package provides some great lighting up front, but the reverse lights are lacking. I wired to the aux switch because I don't need them to light up every time I back up, so no need to connect to the reverse light wiring. I only need them at night in unlit areas.

I've been thinking heavily about this as well for mine. Definitely want to see what others are doing. I've considered an S-POD setup for the variety of lights I have planned. I would love to see some aftermarket button replacements for the Aux switches for Icon Labeling them. My current idea is to use the Aux ones for: Flood Lighting, Spot Lighting, Rock Lights, Rear Lights... But I have sooooo many other things I want to power in time.

I will be adding some trail lights to one of the switches and then likely a winch (through a solenoid/cutoff) on another.

So many lights! LOL I like the dash cam idea. I would have never thought of that.

I guess technically I've got my dashcam wired to the aux wires. Not to the buttons, but to the accessory wire in the aux bundle. So yeah, that too.
Definitely made it easier to wire than having to find a power feed the old way.

#1 front LED bar, #3 rear LED pods, #2 ARB Dual compressor, #4 vacant. I use the ignition hot lead under the passenger side to drive a relay for a dual band radio.

I got the Quadratec wiring harness - plugs in between the 12v outlet on the dash and gives you a fused power source. Used that to power both the dashcam and my wireless phone charger.

#1. 13.5" front light bar #2. 6" amber light bar #3. small flood lights on rear bumper #4. KC cyclones for cargo illumination. I also have my cb connected to the battery wire in the cab. These pre-wired aux switches make everything a breeze compared to wiring the jk I previously had.

Robert, that's a nice option. I went the cheap way though. My camera (like most) has a cigarette lighter plug standard, with an optional hard wire kit. Instead of buying a hard wire kit, I bought a $7 cigarette lighter plug (also fused) and wire it in.

I cut the eyelet off the powered side and wired it to the aux switch bundle. I grounded the other eyelet to a bolt by the door. I then tucked it all behind the panels and plugged the camera into it. I mainly did it because I didn't want the camera's plug hanging out by the 4wd shift lever, and this was a cheap way to relocate it.
Your way is obviously a more professional and permanent.
