Has anyone noticed a Aux or main tank replacement that adds volume? I just ordered my JLURD and would love to consider a larger tank to increase range without filling up. I am not sure if there are any limitations to such a mod, but figured I would ask more knowledgeable peeps before devoting too much time to the idea.

I did a few searches and only found tanks for the 3.6L.

Thanks in advance!

I believe so, says it's a go for both
"The AEV Fuel Caddy is designed to work with the AEV Tire Carrier only." Just caught this on that link. I have the Mopar reinforcement bracket it says it will not work with this due to the configuration of the antenna bracket found on the Mopar reinforcement. With a gallon of fuel weighting
in approximately 7 lbs thats 70 pounds of added weight. I would not feel comfortable adding this without some type of reinforcement bracket.

Ahh dang, that's a bummer all the way around. $3k isn't worth it to me, that's way too steep

There is a company who makes (or at least used to make) a very similar tank to the AEV one that works with most any tire carrier. Sorry I don't remember the name, but knowing it at least existed and some googling should yield results

Someone needs to make an aux fuel tank for the diesel that goes were the stock muffler is and just include a straight pipe like the mbrp or custom unit to work around their tank.

A rear tank like the Genright gas tank and move the Def tank to the left side where the factory fuel tank location is. That is the idea bouncing in my mind. Yet I would love to hear from someone smarter than me a point out the flaws in this idea.
