Oh, sorry if you thought I didn't believe you. I just know jeep chat is worth what you pay for it. It was within one day after someone was told early to mid April on the soft top back order that someone was told the soft tops had come in. When I read two people were warned that if they contacted jeep chat too much the VIN would show it being pinged too many times and the build could be delayed while they investigated a possible fraud or scam, it was all bs. You either get a canned form response from them for the stage it's in, or a response that isn't canned but I think they pull it out of some place down below.

Yeah, I don't think any part of the jeep wrangler jl ordering process is reliable right now.

It just gives us something to do while we wait , I was told by dealer 6-8 weeks tomorrow is 6 weeks so I knew going in i wouldn’t have my Jeep yet

Can the email be reset? Not a huge deal according to the free tracking here it's already in JB, but I can't pull up the build sheet. Should be able to pull it up within a few days anyway, correct?

That's true, but I think that the amount of bs they serve up is unnecessary and they would be better served just being honest.
For example my first build was 1/25 and went D1 on 2/1. I called every week after that, maybe a couple times in a couple of weeks and each time I got the same response. All of the parts necessary to build your vehicle have been gathered and the build will begin very soon. I even thought about a color change but couldn't do it in D1. When I got my build sheet I found out that it had gone backwards into D for a few weeks where it was off the firm schedule. Probably could have changed the color, but never knew it went backwards into D because they think the best option is to give minimal info, even if it's inaccurate.

You can't get a build sheet until it's built (through E framing, F Paint, and G trim) and through to inspection. There's no real way of knowing if it went backwards into D until you get a build sheet and you can't get the build sheet until it's built. That's how they getcha! Lol.

I got a emaIl for my window sticker today. Only thing is it shows the increase in destination charge and cost. Dealer said i would pay the cost of the before total ! Getting excited ,,,,,I’m only 35 ,I’m from Toledo. Wish 8 I could go pick it up.

The dealer can honor the original msrp and freight prices as long as you pick it up within 10 days of it's arrival at your dealer. I read that on an FCA link somewhere on the forum after the increases went into effect, don't ask me where.

You are welcome. I made the site and saw over 100 people get their info emails. Then one morning I woke up and surprised myself when I saw an email from me saying mine was there. I know the feeling and it’s cool that it’s a shared excitement.
I wouldn’t worry too much about that. If you have paperwork from the dealer you can get the original price. Heck I even got 500$ off on the day I picked it up (day before golden ticket expiration) they didn’t seem to want to do it but the fine print said all new vehicles.
