Has anyone made something that monitors an overlander’s batteries and auto cranks a parked rig (with remote start) if the batteries drop below a certain voltage still capable of turning over an engine, but in need of charging from the alternator?
I guess that might be pricey, have to work with FCA’s remote start Fob, and may be better addressed by traveling with a backup battery or generator.
Maybe it could be a smart device that simply monitors the batteries and send you a text when voltage drops below a certain level.
Thanks
Edit: I do now realize that the Genesis Dual Battery Kit has functionality to prevent such taxing of the rig's batteries while camping from preventing it from cranking (far from civilization.)
