I've found it, legend, thanks so much for the help!!

So it was indeed the wires going across into the transmission tunnel, I just had to tug hard at them and they pulled out from the tunnel.

See the blue arrow in the pic.

Super handy! I've been searching for these since I took delivery in January! Will have a look this afternoon and see how I go, thank you

For an AU RHD JLU, I found the interior cables under the LHS of the passenger footwell. Took ages but they were hidden in plain sight. They come from the left side and run behind the bracket that holds up the air con assy and are clipped in all the way over to the trans tunnel where they loop back to the left hand side again.
The Cable under the bonnet is right beside the battery and is easy to see.
