Austin to California - Road Trip Essentials & Trail Recos?

Taking our first significant road trip in our JL, headed to Encinitas then LA. Looking for any guidance on what to carry with us for any potential road hazards. This is my first Jeep and lifted vehicle.

Jeep is a 2019 JL Sport S, approx 3.5" lift on 35s.

Pack list so far:

• Jack base (don't have a hi-lift jack yet)
• Tool set
• Flashlight
• Knife
• Gallon of water

If you have any stops you recommend or trails that would be much appreciated. (Won't wheel alone).

I live in Encinitas...welcome. It's going to be scorching. I'd pack more water and a first aid kit.

In Sedona, AZ. Schnebly Hill if you want that badge of honor then run Broken Arrow for an awesome trail. And the trail head if only 5 min away from the end of Schnebly Hill.
