Got it home today, just in time for 4 days off and the modding to begin, step one will be to remove the bonus plastic on the steel bar, tow hook covers came off before it left the dealer Then it's time to fit all the stuff I have sitting in the spare room, 5 months of waiting allows you to build up a bit of gear

Terflex 1.5" spacer lift (and Mopar lift lower control arms), Rugged Ridge Amfib snorkel, GME XRS Connect UHF radio, Stedi lightbar, dual battery setup with 48AH lithium and Victron DCDC, Springtail Tailgate table, Redarc Pro V3 brake controller, ARB numberplate relocation kit and no doubt some bit's I've forgotten about Still got to book it in for tyres (either 295/70R17 or 305/70R17)

Half an hour after work and the 1st mod is done, fitted the springtail tailgate table. Used a pallet to prop it in position while I put it on, haven;t seen any fitted with the rail on the tailgate but it made it easier as only two holes to drill. I have a large chopping board I am putting some magnets on the back of (to raise it slightly) and will use that for a solid cleanable table top that can stay there when it's folded closed.

Curious how the Teraflex spacer lift will feel with the longer LCAs from Mopar. I have the same parts to be installed, waiting for some other to come before I start.

GME UHF antenna on, I wont wire up the UHF yet as I also have the brake control to do and dual battery but am waiting for the towbar to go on at the dealer as it was on back order (tow bars are rated to 5500lb, which is the the JLU max towing, so are a dealer fit and added locally) before I pull things apart for wiring, basically want to do it all at once.

Also added a 13" radio aerial in prep for the snorkel as I hat the way the tall metal ones tap on them at speed. Of course both colour coded with black and red

Added a chopping board to the springtail tailgate table, a few rare earth magnets and a notch in the chopping board to help keep it in place when folded and it's done. The magnets also lift it up a bit to allow straps on the molle grid.

You can kind of make out here the notch in the board going around the bracket on the backing plate making it impossible for the board to move more than a few mm when folded up. I'll probably glue some thin rubber to the base of the magnets to avoid scratching as well though if there is any movement.

That's my driveway We live backing on to a National Park, can't wheel in those but there are some great spots around, Australia truly is the lucky country

Didn't get much done over our four day Easter holiday, took off the euro splash guards on the steel bar, ordered some tyres to get fitted next Saturday (Nitto Ridge Grappler 305/70R17) and test fitted the Lithium dual battery and Victron DCDC charger, need to get a fuse box etc but looks like plenty of room.
