I recently got my Sahara and I'm noticing an annoying issue. When I'm listening to music over Bluetooth with my Galaxy S8, after a minute or so, the audio starts to stutter. I've tried adjusting EQ, turning off screen mirroring, turning off message and contact sharing, all to no avail. I've never had this problem and it isn't present with other bluetooth devices on the same phone. I have the 8.4 inch screen with nav and alpine audio system for reference.

I have the same phone with the same issues. I believe it's realted to the Android OS itself; when I got my Sahara in March, the Bluetooth coonection worked fine. I received the Android 8.0 in April, and have had problems with stuttering ever since. If I use Bluetooth from my iPod, it has no problems.

Now I just have a USB-C cable I keep in the Jeep all the time, and just use Android Auto. Works well.

I have experiencd the same issue in my new Sahara with my Samsung Galaxy S9. Very frustrating. Let me know if you figure out any solutions.

I've got the same issue. Audio through Bluetooth begins to stutter intermittently after a minute or so. This has happened on both my phone (Google Pixel 2 XL), and my fiances phone (Samsung Galaxy S6). Our phones have no Bluetooth streaming issues with any other device of ours. It was stuttering before and now after the most recent OTA update from FCA. We've adjusted every audio setting possible on the UConnect 8.4" touchscreen possible, and every setting on our phones to see if anything helps, nothing makes a difference.

Mine is doing the same thing. This will make the third time going to the dealer to try to get this issue fixed. Ontop of the defroster in the rear coming off the glass!! Where is jeepcares when you need them? I loved my jeep when I got it but now not only can I not listen to my own music but I can't see out my back glass

iPhone 7 with the latest iOS works properly in my Sahara with the 8.4 screen, so it's either a problem with the Samsung phone, or more likely with the Andriod BT stack version. Unfortunately, it's difficult to fix because both Jeep and the device makers will point fingers at each other. I know Apple doesn't usually admit fault, but issues seem to get fixed eventually, I'd expect a fix in the next AOS update.

Hi everyone,
We would like to offer a couple tips to make sure your phone is compatible and that you are up-to-date on your software.
-Click this link: https://www.mopar.com/en-us/care/bluetooth-pairing.html to make sure that your phones are compatible
-Click this link: https://www.driveuconnect.com/support/software-update.html to make sure that your software is up-to-date.
If your Bluetooth continues to stutter, please send us a private message so we can have this escalated to our Uconnect team.

I have the exact same problem with both of our Galaxy S7's yet my son's iPhone works fine. My Galaxy works fine on all other vehicles I have used it on. I had the dealer look at it and they said everything was updated and nothing wrong. Works fine if I plug into USB but I would rather have it stream via Bluetooth.

Galaxy Note 9 same issue. I had the problem with my previous phone an LG G6 as well. It does not do it 100% of the time, but enough to be annoying. I use the USB cable as a work around.

I can confirm it is not just an Android issue. I have an iPhone XS and when listening to music over Bluetooth, audio will stop and stutter intermittently. Only solution is to listen via CarPlay or USB audio.

@JeepCares This is obviously a issue that effects many vehicles. I have had my vehicle in the dealership 4 times for this issue. The software was reloaded several times, and the radio unit was replaced. The service advisor kept telling me they could not duplicate, but yet it comstantly happens to me with no issue. The service advisor told me he had it happen to him recently on a Ram truck. So this is obviously a FCA software or hardware issue. For 50+k on a vehicle, you would expect this is not an issue. My Ford and Chevy have no problem with bluetooth audio.

I believe that Jeep has no idea how to fix the problem,I showed them that it was happening to mine when the voltage was on the low side and the touch screen unit is not getting enough voltage to work properly. They told me that the voltage is supposed to go up and down but I have never seen an engine that would go from 14.3 volts to 12 volts while I am driving.I am a heavy duty truck mechanic and work on a lot of computer controlled engines and transmissions, when we have voltage problems nothing works correct.

Please Jeep can you get people that know what they are doing working on the issues that we have, and not just blame it on things that have nothing to do with the problem.

I had the same issue. Also had pixelation on the maps feature for Android Auto. Fixed now. I deleted Android auto, re-installed, deltedd my blueBluet pairing, re-paired... I also updated my phone software. Everything is good now.

Are you using Google Play? I'm trying Pandora today and haven't had one studder at all. I may permanently switch. Besides, I can now get Eagles songs. They aren't available on Google.

Have had no problems with iPhone X with latest updates as far as working, the only annoyance I have if after I have paired the phone to the Jeep all works fine but when I shut it off and then get back in it all works great except I have to connect to the music everytime it seems for some reason the Bluetooth does not connect fast enough for the music to start playing and it defaults to SAT radio but all other Bluetooth functions have no issues, my son who has the same phone but has the 8.4 has no issues so Iā€™m pretty sure itā€™s an issue with mine since I donā€™t have the 8.4
