Until this mystery new software, that has not release date, comes out, or like some who have had their camera replaced. Get used to it. My STAR case they had the dealer disconnect my camera. Nothing like solving a problem but making removing a safety feature. Just keep taking it to the dealer. I had to take mine, and refuse to turn the vehicle off until a Tech looked at it, that way there wasn't the "could not reproduce" fight. At this point I am giving them until the end of April, and if the mystery software update doesn't happen, I am going to lemon law the vehicle.
Already took some steps for them to retake the vehicle, currently looking at other brands to choose something else. This is terrible considering I was a huge Jeep fan and was thinking about riding in Wranglers for the rest of my life. How many loyal clients like me are the gonna lose with their negligence I wonder?

I asked JeepCares yesterday if there was any word on the software fix. Today they told me there is still no ETA, so I think I am going to follow your path. I used to support Ford, and if there was a problem like this, it was fixed very quickly in an effort to keep it quiet. I Have several issues, which the tech can not reproduce, as they happen randomly, and I can't run to the dealer every time it happens. So based on still not having a date, and the horrible service I have received from my last Jeep Wave Rep. I think I am done.

What a COMPLETE JOKE, the tech at my dealers says he never heard of that issue and when contacted FCA they told him they weren't aware of that issue. What a bunch of incompetents.

If anyone cares, I started a poll to start tracking the number of people experiencing these issues. Maybe if it is bad enough, Uconnect will not be a part of Jeep's future (we can only hope).

I took delivery of my '18 JLUR last September and had no radio issues until November when I began to experience the audio cutting in and out. The problem could occur for a day or two, and then not disappear for a week or two. Somewhere in January, 2019, the problem seemed to disappear and hasn't come back. Until today, four months later, when the same audio issue occurred each of the four times I got in my car. So weird.

Will do. They asked me for my name, VIN, dealer and mileage, which I shared with them. When I reported the same issue last Fall on this Forum, they asked me for the same info. Their suggestion last Fall was to visit my dealer, which seems to me like a bit of a waste of time as there's no fix yet for the issue. I'm happy to bring it in if there's a reasonable possibility of fixing the issue, which I don't believe exists at this time.

I copied this from another forum, seems there might be a fix:

asked my star rep for a pdf version of this updated TSB but she can't provide. However, she told me it addresses the following:

SYMPTOM/CONDITION: Customers may experience one or more of the following:•
**Audio distortion.
•Uconnect App inoperative.
•Navigation route guidance incorrect.
•Radio locked up.
**•Voice recognition inoperative.
•Navigation locks up and/or black screen.
•Missing CarPlayTmessage
“Device Not Present? when using the IPhoneTdisplay screen.
•Split screen with incorrect display.
•Radio display screen may flicker.
•Poor Bluetooth audio.
•Split screen with incorrect display.
•Radio will intermittently reset.
•SXMTaudio stops working.
•SXM missing the menu and/or display graphics.

In addition, the following improvements are included:
•**Radio reception improvements.
**•AndroidAutoT/CarPlay enhancements.
•Language enhancements.

Sorry the update is this:

FINALLY!!! Good news guys... Im told by my Star rep today that a TSB has been released today addressing this very issue. I only have the TSB number right now which is 08-009-19REV. A. Hopefully this is the end of this. I’ll report back after I know more. Of course, if you find the actual pdf of this TSB please post it here.

I'm joining the club on radio issues.

Yesterday it was consistently dropping sound (Radio/Satellite/Apple) every 5 seconds for a few seconds.

Today it disappeared and I hoped for the best. 9pm and now there is no sound (Radio/Satellite/Apple).

Ugh..... I'll call the dealer Monday.

Are these problems limited to the 8.4 screen only, or does this affect the 7.0” and 5.0” as well?
