I swapped hardtops and now I cannot get the mopar headliner to stick to the new roof. As anyone successfully used glue or epoxy of some sort? I tried multiple velcro vendors and I am almost to the point of gluing them but afraid it will seep through the headliner material and look bad. What can I use to get them to stay?

the local dealer said they do not know since they come from factory predone.

What is not sticking, the double-sided 3M tape or the velcro straps?

I ordered my JL with the Mopar headliner, but on my previous JK I installed the aftermarket headliner sections using 3M high strength 90 spray adhesive. The headliner stayed in place until I sold it.

You can first try applying some adhesive promoter to the double-sided 3M tape or, if that fails, replacing the strips of 3M tape altogether.

You can get the adhesive promoter at a paint shop, and the double-sided 3M tape at your local Home Depot/Lowe’s.
