long Story, so I’ll cut to the chase. I have two rear caliper brackets, and don’t know which goes to which side. They appear identical, but I’m sure they are side specific. Only difference I can see is on is stamped 2132, and the other is 2123. Any ideas on how to determine driver versus passenger side? Added a photo. This is the 2123 bracket

Taking a guess… the threading for the brake line is probably at the top?

For my JLUR, they are side specific.

I found an image online with right rear stamped 2264 so that probably doesn't help you. Also on my Rubi I don't see that number stamped on them. It has full part numbers.

On the other side of my bracket there is a longer number, identical on both parts. They only visual difference in stamping was the 4 digit number

Possible it's a lot number that doesn't matter then? Same part # would lead me to believe they're interchangeable.

What’s the longer part number? What does it show on AllMoparParts or similar? I tried a quick search thinking odd ending part numbers would be driver and even passenger but I saw no pattern and some part numbers showed right or left.

Any idea if you can visually tell them apart?
I got nothing.

But if you lay them side by side and find differences, you can then compare to the calipers and backing plates.

A005P276 which is linked to a manufacturer.

If part numbers are visible, go to Moparpartsgiant.com and put in your VIN, then search. They identify which part number is left vs right.

The only number available is not a mopar part number unfortunately.
