Artec Skid Plate Muffler Clearance Question

[RFR JLR 2.0]

I installed the Artec aluminum skid plates today and have a question regarding muffler clearance. As shown in the attached photo, the muffler is slightly in contact with the oil pan skid. Does the muffler need to be modified to gain more clearance? I know that some 3.6L have muffler issues with these skids. If so any suggestions on how to do it? Thanks

You need to shave a little bit off of the skid plate so that it doesn’t touch the exhaust cross pipe.
