The latest design, the V3, seems to have brought the base closer towards the bumper by about an inch, most likely making the issue of the winch body/wire pressing against the grill nonexistent.

They have also brought up the price from $189.99 (what I paid for the V2) to $351.99. Ouch.

I would’ve honestly considered buying the V3 and changing it out with my V2 just to bring my winch forward by an inch. But that price is insane.

And this is the newest V3.
Note how the base is pushed forward by about an inch, whereas V2’s base is level with the mounting points.

That one inch to the front would be perfect for winch setups like mine.

Call them and ask - worst case is they say no best is they cut you a deal....

They obviously have changed it for winches that have more girth back from the bolt pattern then forward which your Badlands seems to fit.
