The LOD mounts should go over the bellypan. Looks like they bolt in over the factory gas tank anyhow, so it should not be a big deal.
Will this skid plate system work with the Rock Slide Engineering stepsliders?

Second this question. I have RSE steps and want to make sure they will fit together.

Did you ever receive a response from Artec as I have the exact same question?

I lost interest in the RSE powered step sliders after I found out they weigh over 200 lbs and up to almost 300 lbs if you get the armor. The remaining payload of my Jeep would be zippo after installing them, the skid plates and a bumper-winch setup.

Can the Artec aluminum skid plates be painted or powder coated, or is that not a good idea?

Yes. They can be painted or powder coated. I’ve seen them powder coated and that’s what I’m doing to mine once they arrive.

They both fit on the 3.6 and I have no reason to believe it’s different on the 2.0. I have the RSE sliders with armor and a winch and steel rear bumper also. Artec aluminum is on order also.

You gain 200lbs net from the steps and about 100lbs net from the winch.

Take a look at the Smittybilt XRC9500. It weighs only 46lbs with the synthetic rope. A little weight saved here and there adds up.

Yes but I cut bent and rewelded the lod mounting points. There are probably other ways to do it

I’m running the Artec and RSE steps w NO issues. Some slight mods will have to be done if using a Long Arm Kit.

They won’t rust and are underneath out of sight. Why paint?
