I picked up two 36 sq ft boxes of Kilmat for the incoming Willys. It feels like about 35~40# of weight that'll be added to the overall weight.

Does anyone know if the Mopar headliner is removable? If so I may place any left over Kilmat up there to help with sound and heat.

I'm sure this has been answered, but is this flooring slippery when wet??
I will let you know! Installed it yesterday and love it. You can definitely hear a difference driving with the lack of road/tire noise. Just a PSA…I read that you should tape the plastic seat recline mechanism covers on the sides of the seats. Forget that!! It takes two seconds to simply grab them and pop them off! Now I have to buy two new covers??

Not really. Even with ArmorAll type stuff on them, they are not super slippery (some, but not crazy).

That happened to mine also, bought two new ones for like $30 shipped. They just pop on and off real easy.

I would love a set for a 4XE and a full set for the rear cargo area. Are they available?

Do you have to take the seats out to install this flooring?

I unbolted mine and then rocked them back and forth to get the flooring in place. You can take them out, which would make things easier, but it's not necessary to do so.

As Chuck said, I did what the directions said and rocked back and forth. However, when you rock back they slide real easy towards rear of vehicle causing the cover to brush up against the seat belt retractor and scratches the covers. I taped them but wasn't expecting such sharp pieces that had no problem penetrating the tape. If I was to do it again, I would remove both the front and rear seats as you could do the job quicker and easier.

I pulled the seats out. It can be done without removing them, but I installed Kilmat before the flooring.

With that said, I did it in winter and there is no way I could have worked the flooring around the seats--it was way too stiff.
