They're pissed that you're out there. They consider it "their" trail. They really only like it if their fares are interested in your rig....when I've gone in my buggy, they've been super friendly...mostly b/c the tourists probably tip better. In a fairly normal Jeep or Toyota....nothing but the disdain you mention.
I respectfully disagree. Every time I go there every single vehicle waves, and even the people inside the Pink Jeeps wave back at me. Maybe I make my wave obvious (imagine Forrest Gump wave) so they're forced to wave back.

I have been on the forums for a while and never checked in. Just traded my Sahara for a Rubi. Lots to do.

2019 JLU Sport S, basically stock except for some DV8 side steps/sliders and a locking gas cap. Hoping to find some rubicon take offs to toss on it for now.

Looking forward to joining the Jeep community!

Just picked up last week and got back from a detail. Coated in Feynlab Ceramic by B's Wax (AZ Auto Aesthetics) down in Mesa. Highly recommend these guys worth the drive if you are remotely close. I'll be back there in the coming weeks to get it tinted in Xpel Prime XR Plus (guy was sick so couldn't do it at the same time).
