Are you re-gearing for 35s or 37s?

Are you re-gearing for larger tires?

are you running an AT or Manual? Have you done any serious rock crawling with the new gears and 38s?

Automatic - not yet... had to do the 500 mile break in again on the gears.

Has anyone had the dealership reprogram post regear yet? If so how much did they charge?

So it seems like the overwhelming majority of those going up to 35s are not gear swapping. Why is that? Feel it’s not needed or is it a matter of the cost of the gear swap? I’ll be buying a JLUR and likely going with 35” tires. I’d planned on gearing to 4.56 to restore lost torque and acceleration. Is this not common (new to Jeeps, not gear swaps)?
If your going with JLUR it comes in 4.10 gears and fits 35s without additional mods. (https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/jlu-rubicon-on-35s-no-lift.7290/#post-159631)

The 33 OEM on the Rubi vs the 35s is barely a difference. I wouldn't see the point of regearing unless you go to 37s I run auto as well.

What brand of gears? any issues so far with the "programmer"? I'm going to be spinning 37s on Hutchinson's weighing in at 125lbs so this is a real consideration and possible option. Thanks !

Edit: sorry for the questions:
They had to get larger spreader? I would have thought a 44-60 spreader would have worked. Was it the spacing of the holes or what?

Going with 37's and staying stock and seeing how that goes. If MPG suffers or starts are slow than appropriate gears will be sought.
