Are you re-gearing for 35s or 37s?

Are you re-gearing for larger tires?

Is anybody re-gearing for 35s?

What about 37s?

(If yes, what are you re-gearing to?)

No regear here. Gonna run 35s and stock everything with 2in Mopar lift for first couple years. If truck makes it atleast half through my warranty with no problems, then I'll consider doing some JL crate 44s or 60s and go to either 38s or 40s.

I'm also getting the 2" Mopar lift with 35's installed as we speak. I'll try it out on stock gearing and see what happens.

Also note that I'm a 6spd manual.

For highway cruising, 5th and 6th are pretty close, so I figure I can use 5th and 4th when I need acceleration and maybe 3rd for sub 65mph passing power.

Drove it in 4lo on a small trail last weekend and it's definitely a weird feeling when you hit the brakes going downhill - the locked center diff, varying wheel speeds between front and rear and use of clutch/brake/engine brake is something to get used to.

It will be a true test once I modulate the clutch up steep ruts/rocks with 35's in 4lo. I'll report back to ya'll once its set up!

We will probably go 4.88s and 37s for now and then 40s and 5.38s

Does anyone have any experience with 4.10s and 35’s and or 37’s
Manual Manly but open to auto thoughts
Curious to see when the regear needed
I heard it’s not bad with 35’s

Heard it isn't bad with 37's either, but I will re-gear to 4.56 when they are available.

4.10 to 4.56 isn’t really a jump justifing the cost
It’s probably going to take awhile to have enough people modify the JL’s to figure it out
I just ordered today
Was planning on 35’s no lift but damn do 37’s just look perfect

Well, I want to run the same RPM ranges per gear after I do the lift, so I want to do it regardless. It is just a math problem I believe and based on the new Auto gear ratio's, 4.56's would be the best match for 37's.

so 37s on the Rubicon and 410s is still good ? but i am sure it will drop on many miles you get on a tank of gas like it did on my jk sport with 35s and 373s. i went from 300 to 200 on a tank and thats a lot of difference on gas

Yeah I pulled the 3.73s out and put in 5.13s and it helped but it's still a pig. MPG's did go up but not a lot.

Only thing I notice with 37’s is 8th gear. No reason to regear for me and I’m at 7000 ft.
