I like the aggressive look of the hi-lines and supposedly you can run 35s on them without a lift.

I do not know if you mean this, but there is a gap that needs attention.
The problem is not with water and clay but with stones that may cause extreme damage.

I still don't believe there will be a choice.

Ahmed, it does that on the JK, too. That's why I put front splash guards on my JK and will do the same with the JL. The Mopar splash guards on my JK bend and give on rocks, too. They survived Moab, Utah trails without a scratch, which quite frankly amazed me. It wasn't good fortune, either, because another Jeep in our group had them and I watched his bend and fold over rocks and his emerged without a scratch, just as mine did.

Some of the debris and dirt will still get on there. At higher speeds, it just goes around the fender flare and winds up on the body, anyway.

Danw thanked me for the comment, this gap may not exceed my belief 2cm could be closed and no need to buy a splash guards

I'm getting hi-line fenders if it's an option. I'm really hoping the, "color injected" fenders are much more robust and can take a beating without chipping or cracking.

This will happen on high or low fenders. The High Line fenders are longer and not simply pushed up fenders. High Line as you see also have a notch on top for the hood latch that the reg do not.

I have seen JL Rubis with and without the High Line fenders. So hopefully an option or test mules simply had both versions for testing.

If I get High Line...I gotta raise the rear fenders to even out. Don't like the staggered fender look.

I'm sure this team has had a great mission and has returned and may have recorded some notes that have certainly been discussed.
