I would think no (they are Dana 44s too). Other than a lower ratio and having the diff lock, I think they are the same axles. If you have a Rubicon Diesel, then you have the diff lock. I assume you do not. I would look to the aftermarket if you want/need lower ratios and diff-lock.Are Rubi axles/ratio a worthwhile upgrade for us? I'm obviously talking about the gasser rubicon's axles
Not bad... looking at over 10k! LolI would think no (they are Dana 44s too). Other than a lower ratio and having the diff lock, I think they are the same axles. I believe you have a Dana 30 in the front and 3:45 gears (unless you have the 3:73 option). With the Rubi axles you get the 4:10 Dana 44s F&R, lockers F&R, sway disconnects. And most sets for sale also include the brakes, so you'd have extra brake parts if needed. Are Rubi axles/ratio a worthwhile upgrade for us? I'm obviously talking about the gasser rubicon's axles
Oh, well that changes the value equation a bit, still a nice upgrade for sure but not a slam-dunk like I had envisioned if you were running the Dana 30 in front. We are indeed talking about the diesel
At least things are become clearer for meThis thread was moved from the diesel section for some reason
