Wanted to put the ARB bar and safari snorkel on my JLU Overland. Unfortunately my Gobi Stealth rack doesn't allow either to be fitted. Still getting the suspension and side steps. Anyone have any alternatives for an ADR approved rear bar that support the parking sensors? Still waiting on the front bar. Apparently the buffers are causing issues with the parking sensors, so they have to solve that before it can be released.

Update:
Just spoke to Bill at DoubleBlack Offroad and apparently they have installed both with the Gobi rack before with a slight mod. Looks like I will be finding a reason to drive from Sydney to Melbourne soon to get the rest done.

Got my ARB gear on.
OME lift kit. Legal rise of 50mm.
ARB Side Step/Rock rails.
Looking forward to being able to put a front bar and winch on soon (once it is out of development that is). Some photos below. First is after install and the other two are before.

You can just contact Drivetech 4x4 as they run RIVAL brand in Australia,
Yes ADR version of the bumper comes without these hooks but I think they will offer them as an option for using away from the roads.
Hi Alex,
Will the Rival rear bar also be available and approved in Australia?

How you finding ARB lift quality? is the ride stiff vs OEM? How much did you pay including installation?

I am looking to get a lift and ARB looks interesting.

Hi Alamein,
From an on road perspective I would not call the suspension stiff. It is firm and does a much better job of damping than the OEM shocks. Haven't had it off road yet. I am hoping it will cure the tail end bounce it gets when I am towing my camper on corrugated dirt roads. It seems like it will.

Finally, fitted it during the lockdown. ARB Rear bar with mud flap and plate relocation options.

The reverse sensors and fog lights removed from the original bar. Bar and recovery points bolt directly to the chassis rails with 4 bolts per side.

Do you have a side shot? The area between the rear guards and bumper. I can't find any side shots so I'm assuming the bar doesn't wrap around the corner.

Hoping these shots give a better perspective. The bar does wrap around the corner but does not join up with the rear guards. Note the additional black bracket below the tub which the mud flap assembly attaches to.

that's a shame, they could have done a little better job of that.

BTW, if your going to play offroad might want to think about moving the trailer plug. That spot does get a few hits. I just tuck mine up behind the bar when not needed.

What happened with the reserve sensor and rear fog light with this installation?
