Yes, that will work. My compressor is and was inside the cab so I elected chasis ground rather than going back to the battery.

Thats what I am doing. Putting it in my rear cargo tub.

hey thanks for the help! Everybody here. Sometimes this wiring shit gets my brain all fried.

Ditch the switch they send and wire it into aux switches. I spent hours trying to get it to work and that was the issue.

That will work. I hooked mine up in the trunk, ran the cables through the front passenger drain plug (then sealed the plug). Then fished them under the carpets, into the rear seats, up under the carpet on the side, then cut a hole to pop them out next to the mount.

My next project may be running the air chuck to the rear bumper or to the gas tank fill up so I don’t have to fish in the rear.

The schematic is a bit of a much to keep track of if you’re not used to it (I’m not). I’m fairly certain it enforces a cascade of requirements. Lockers won’t engage if isolation switch is not active. Once isolation switch is closed, only 1 locker can engage (rear). If the rear is not engaged, you can’t engage the front. I’ll be letting my front engage on command without requiring the rear, but I do plan on having an isolation switch (for the locker solenoids only) away from my switch panel to prevent over enthusiastic passengers from playing with things and causing major damage.
