I just finished installing the apex steering boost kit. Let me tell ya every part of that install was tough.
It took about 5 hours. If you think it looks tight in the pictures you're right. It's tight.
I started with the cooler install. Figured I could turn back if I couldn't get the cooler installed. Found jacking up the passenger side help open up some of the front end.
Once that was done I thought I was past the hard stuff. Then I went to unplug my connectors. Wow toughest connectors I've messed with. Had some breakage of little plastic near the connectors but no issues. Just my ocd affected.
I did get the pump on the bench and swapping out the spring was very straight forward.
Reinstall went well. I do feel the same while in motion, but this is significantly lighter turning when stopped.
Hopefully this clears up some of the heavy steering I would get in 4lo and slow speeds like parking lots.
