Slight delay in finishing the Mopar 2” lift install on the 21 JLUR

since I have the control arms off, and have the time, I am considering just installing adjustable lower control arms up front.

as mentioned in other posts, I am running 37x13.50 mud grapplers. I have already installed the RC adjustable front track bar.

just wondering if the RC control arms are good quality. Track bar is pretty solid.

I was planning on running the control arms that come in the lift, but I am on the fence

is it that difficult to swap them out in the future, if I end up have issues with the kit arms ?

Don't forget to loosen all 16 control arm mounting bolts and retorque them after the jeep is back on the ground.

Sorry for the lazy reply, but this pertains to lcas as well..... :)

ordered them from north ridge. Hopefully that will get the front end dialed in. I am curious if I will need to grab a steering stabilizer or adjustable rear track bar.

on the JK forums, I remember people saying aftermarket stabilizers “push” the steering due to the gases. Not sure if that’s the case. I had the Fox ATS on my 07, but that thing had far more issues than the JL will ever have. So, I really couldn’t tell if it even helped.

You’ll be surprised when you get the arms by how beefy they are, they’ll work fine with the Mopar kit. In the rear you can just get a track bar relocation bracket if you want. It raises the track bar which will center your rear axle.

The main reason you don’t just use a relocation bracket in the front is because it raises the track bar which gets it out off parallel with the drag link, which leads to bump steer.

As far as a steering stabilizer goes, IMO , I would get a thru shaft ss since your going with 37/13.50s. You can wait to see how your oem ss does, and decide then. It’s not something you have to do right away. If you do go with an ats ss, I would relocate it to top of the tie rod, to get it out of harms way as well. The synergy relocation kit is what I used before I got my new adjustable thru shaft ss , it has its own tie rod clamp.

I would normally never purchase any super lift or Teraflex stuff, but I have to ask,,,, is there really much difference between brands for a rear track bar relocation bracket?

I’m going broke :/

Lol.... welcome to Jeep life, lol. I don’t have any experience with superlift, sorry. I’m a RK guy, I try to stick with them. Their bracket is 89.00 at Northridge with jlwranglerforum coupon code.

I have the super lift bracket. Been holding up just fine. Couldn’t pass it up for $50.

I've had RC adj lowers on our JLUR for about 15k miles and they are great. I started with RC spacer, but added front and rear adj trac bars, and front lowers. Went to Synergy 3.5" springs, and left the rest RC. Works great together and steering alingment is dialed in perfectly.

yea, you won't be disappointing. Nice beefy parts, and the heims are built well. RC has really upped their QC as of late.
