i installed the Racor lift in my garage and can’t for the life of me understand why the side that is opposite the gearbox is wanting to cross thread the cable when the other side is just fine

I originally bought mine to my hardtop but wound up deciding to use it for storage and bought another lift for my top.

I use this lift on my JK top and have no problems with spooling. I will use it on my JL top as well.

I've been using my RACOR in my garage for over 9 years and it's still perfectly operating-

If you follow the instructions on treading the operating cables and insure they're untwisted and correctly using the individual pulleys--there's no binding/mis-feed-
